Chelsea are prepared to sell Ruben Loftus-Cheek this summer after nearly two decades at the club, according to reports.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who joined Chelsea at the age of eight in the academy, has been at Stamford Bridge for 19 years.
However, the Blues midfielder is now linked with an exit at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old’s previously had time out on loan, but he could now be exiting West London on a permanent basis.

The Evening Standard claims that Chelsea would sanction Loftus-Cheek’s sale in the upcoming summer transfer window.
It is explained that the player himself is unlikely to force a move ahead of next season, but he will be entering the final year of his contract at the Bridge.
Loftus-Cheek has been in and out of the Chelsea team this season, making 28 first-team appearances across all competitions.
We would be interested to know what the next permanent manager wants to do with the Englishman. Incidentally, The Telegraph claimed this week that some Chelsea players think the club will soon appoint Julian Nagelsmann as the next manager.

Loftus-Cheek has come in handy during recent seasons because of his flexibility. It’s been interesting to watch him cover as a wing-back, albeit he’s a central midfielder by design.
Aged 27, it’s time for him to now play consistently in a team and try to work towards an England recall.
Unfortunately, we view him as a member of this oversized squad that we can afford to lose.
If he can get back to anywhere near his best, Premier League clubs should be seriously considering a move for him this summer.
