Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is interested in bringing Borussia Monchengladbach attacking midfielder Jonas Hofmann to Stamford Bridge, according to Bild.
Several players are reportedly considering their future at Die Fohlen after confirmation that manager Marco Rose will join Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
One of them, according to the report, is Hofmann who has six goals and 10 assists from just 21 appearances this season.

Tuchel who previously worked with Hofmann at Dortmund is reportedly monitoring the Germany international.
Bild even claims that there has already been contact between the Chelsea boss and Hofmann’s advisors.
Hofmann is still under contract until 2023 but the report mentioned that he might consider a fresh challenge after five years at Monchengladbach.

Manager’s wanting to bring in their former players is not exactly news, particularly at clubs like Chelsea with high managerial turnover.
The attacking midfield or winger department at Chelsea, however, should arguably the least of their concerns at the moment.
With Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, and even Timo Werner at Tuchel’s disposal, it seems unlikely that Chelsea are going to bring in another attacker this summer.
Hofmann is a versatile attacker, having played as a centre-midfielder, a winger, and even a centre-forward this season — which makes him very intersting.
But Tuchel also already has plenty of versatile options at Chelsea, doesn’t he?
