Chelsea could reportedly target a move to try sign AC Milan’s Rafael Leao in January
According to Miguel Delaney’s newsletter for The Independent, the Blues have a “considerable interest” in the 23-year-old Milan attacker.
It is understood that Chelsea may actually go back in with a bid to sign the Portugal international in January.
The Times reported back in the summer that Chelsea were in talks with Serie A champions Milan about interest in Leao.
The rapid winger ended up staying at the San Siro this season, scoring four goals and making seven assists in 12 games across all competitions so far.

Chelsea could target Leao in January
Chelsea have comfortably beaten Milan twice this month in Champions League group stage matches, but Leao still managed to look a serious threat for the Italians.
Described as a “top player” by Chelsea boss Graham Potter, Leao is the talisman in Milan colours that looks destined for big things in his career.
He’s a left-winger with blistering pace to go past opponents. There’s a lot to love about his game when it comes to directness and a willingness to dribble with the ball, too.
If he was to move to England, Premier League audiences should expect fireworks from him.

Aged 23, Leao is a player with his best years ahead of him. He already has the world at his feet as well.
Raheem Sterling has helped reenergise the Chelsea forward line following his arrival at Stamford Bridge in the summer, something you could picture Leao only adding more to.
Blues fans want forward players that can dribble and glide on the pitch, with the London club blessed in the past couple of decades to have some magical footballers.
Let’s hope Leao is the next big thing to shine at a later date at Chelsea.
