Chelsea are reportedly interested in Inter Milan prospect Cesare Casadei as a potential transfer target.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea would like to buy the 19-year-old talent during this summer transfer window.
It is understood the Blues have already initiated contact for the midfielder, plus there may be a bid tabled imminently.
The report adds the teenager’s name came up in conversations earlier this summer when the two clubs were negotiating Romelu Lukaku’s season-long loan to the San Siro.

Chelsea interested in Cesare Casadei
Casadei, who’s yet to actually make his first-team debut for Inter, is an upcoming talent.
He’s a central midfielder that’s been a major hit in Inter’s Under-19s side, scoring 16 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions last season. He’s been involved with the first team during the Serie A club’s pre-season friendlies this summer, too.
With Chelsea’s younger age groups struggling last season, it’s a great idea to bring some fresh young blood into the fold at Cobham. Hopefully, a youngster like Casadei is one for the future as well if he joins.

Genuine path
For certain, you’ll get a chance to play in Chelsea’s senior side if you’re good enough.
There’s been numerous youngsters get the chance under Blues manager Thomas Tuchel to play, so that should be a real encouragement to those in the academy.
