Chelsea could really ruffle some Arsenal feathers by making a move for Mykhailo Mudryk.

According to the Guardian, Todd Boehly is considering disrupting the transfer plans of his London rival by swooping in for the Shakhtar Donetsk winger.

It is no secret that the Gunners are firing their financial powers towards Mudryk.

They have apparently already had one offer rejected by Shakhtar for their young star, but are seemingly not shying away from a deal yet.

However, Arsenal might be forced to cower in the shadows if Chelsea muscle in on this transaction.

Although their front line is already bulging at the seams, the Blues are never far away from being linked with another attacker.

Especially when they are hot property on the market.

Will Chelsea chance their luck with Mykhailo Mudryk?

Mudryk is certainly one of Europe’s most tantalising products, and is surely destined to join the Premier League before long.

The 21-year-old extremely caught the eye during the Champions League group stage, scoring three times from six starts.

He has also impressed on the international scene with Ukraine, whilst Shakhtar might not be challenging for the league title without his contributions.

Roberto De Zerbi, his former club coach and now Brighton manager, recently said ‘he has the potential to win the Ballon d’Or’.

Hence why the Guardian claim the Ukrainian side are holding out for an £85m bid to make them even consider selling Mudryk.

Chelsea could do with a little extra firepower following the injury to Armando Broja.

Yet, with the forward trio of Raheem Sterling, Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic combining well against Bournemouth, perhaps Boehly might consider saving his pennies to spend elsewhere in January.
