Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is among those who have sent get well wishes to Italy and Roma defender Leonardo Spinazzola amid transfer interest, according to Sky Italia.
Spinazzola ruptured his Achilles’ tendon during Italy’s 2-1 quarter-final win over Belgium in the Euro 2020.
Sky Italia claims that the left-back has since received messages from high-profile names in football, such as Antonio Conte and Luciano Spalletti and, more interestingly, Chelsea’s Granovskaia.
The report further added that Chelsea were one of the clubs most interested in Spinazzola, particularly his impressive displays at the Euro 2020.
However, any imminent transfer seems very unlikely at the moment following the 28-year-old’s injury situation.
He will reportedly be out for the next four months, at the very least.

The club’s reported interest in Spinazzola would certainly surprise a lot of Chelsea supporters.
While the former Juventus man’s performance at the Euro has attracted a lot of attention, Chelsea do not seem to be in need of a new left-back anytime soon.
As it stands, Thomas Tuchel has three left-back options at his disposal in Ben Chilwell, Marcos Alonso, and Emerson Palmieri.
Alonso and Emerson have been linked to potential returns to Serie A, but unless they both leave in this transfer window, one of them would likely stay as a backup option for the upcoming season.
