Chelsea have decided to end their interest in signing Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
That is according to the Evening Standard.
The Blues no longer think they’ll sign Andre Onana and have chosen to withdraw their interest.
Apparently, they are now looking at some alternatives in the keeper position.

The Evening Standard claims that Chelsea will move away from targeting Onana.
That leaves Manchester United as the favourites to sign Inter’s 27-year-old goalkeeper, who is expected to cost roughly £50million.
It is understood that Chelsea’s three alternative options that they will now check on are Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel, and Brentford’s David Raya.
In our view, the aforementioned trio are a step down from Inter’s first-choice gloveman.

In our view, Onana will be a target will look back at and regret not snapping up in this window.
His £50million valuation looks a great deal for a modern day keeper that has just enjoyed a superb individual campaign, which included Champions League masterclasses as Inter finished runners-up to Manchester City.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see him come to the Premier League with United and improve their starting line-up.
Chelsea’s current number one, Kepa Arrizabalaga, is a good keeper that has found his feet again this season. But we need the top bracket to get back to competing with the very best.
