Chelsea are expected to win the race for Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries despite likely competition from Bayern Munich and Manchester United this summer, according to InterLive.
The Italian outlet claims that Dumfries, who was a regular starter at Inter in the first half of the season, has started to lose his spot in the team recently.
The reported transfer interest from other top clubs, including Chelsea, Bayern, and Manchester United, is mentioned as a possible distraction for the player.
Interlive claims that the Italian club, who need to raise at least €60million (£53.5m) from player sales this summer to balance their accounts, see this as an opportunity to cash in on the 26-year-old.

Inter reportedly expect to get more than €40m (£36m) for Dumfries, although they are hoping summer bidding wars could get the price close to the £53.5m they need.
This also means the player would go to the highest bidders, and Chelsea, who have shown their willingness to make big investments in players, are described as the “probable” winners.
Dumfries, whom Micah Richards previously described as “brilliant“, is under contract with Inter until summer 2025.
It remains unclear, however, whether the Blues are still in the market for a right-back after signing Malo Gusto in January.
The France youth international is staying at Lyon on loan this season but will join Graham Potter’s squad in the summer.
It would hardly make sense for Chelsea to have both Dumfries and Gusto in their ranks while Reece James continues his role as the first-choice in this position.
