It is understood that the Belgium international could leave Stamford Bridge in January du etc his lack of minutes and that Roma could be joined by other Premier League teams in chasing his signature.

Chelsea signed Batshuayi from Marseille back in 2016 for £33million (BBC).

He’s had three different loan spells away from the club at Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Crystal Palace, but has written his name into the history books.

The striker scored the goal against West Brom that clinched the Blues the Premier League title in the 2016/17 season and has had some memorable moments.

Batshuayi has been a part of Frank Lampard’s squad this season and managed five goals in 19 games across all competition.

But teammate Tammy Abraham has taken the role as first-choice striker in West London this campaign and doesn’t look like giving up his spot.

Batshuayi couldn’t be blamed if he wanted to go experience more minutes elsewhere and he is an attractive option for Roma, but on the flip side Chelsea would be left very light in attack if he exited.

Olivier Giroud is the only alternative forward option and he’s played even less than Batshuayi this season.
