Chelsea have reportedly refused an advance from AC Milan for Trevoh Chalobah’s services this month.
According to the Evening Standard, the San Siro hierarchy have seen their attempts to sign the defender decline by those at Stamford Bridge.
Chalobah is one of the few in the senior squad whose position seems to be safe.
He is rarely linked with a move away from his boyhood club, having finally established himself as a first-team regular following a few seasons out on loan.

The 23-year-old is amongst Graham Potter’s most used players, and remains one of the most reliable members at Cobham.
Yet, the Evening Standard claim that the centre-back now has plenty of suitors hoping to land him on loan this month.
Chelsea don’t want Trevoh Chalobah to be captured
Milan appear to be one of those attracted to Chalobah, who could reunite him with one of his former teammates and long-standing friends.
Fikayo Tomori has transformed into a defensive titan since leaving Chelsea to join the Italian side in 2021.
Tomori is a prime example of an Englishman moving abroad and flourishing in their new surroundings.
Whilst home comforts are always welcome, perhaps Chalobah could be influenced by his lifelong friend to test his metal in Serie A.

It’s worked out pretty well for Tomori; why couldn’t it for Trevoh as well?
But Chelsea are clearly not entertaining the idea of this particular pupil leaving anytime soon.
