Chelsea have arisen as possible contenders to sign Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich in the summer.
According to ESPN, the Blues and Manchester City could possibly do battle to secure the sensational striker for next season.
Lewandowski is contracted at Bayern until 2023, but there remain doubts over his future with the Bundesliga champions.

No such uncertainties linger over his quality. The 32-year-old has scored 43 goals in 37 appearances this season, failing to convert in just four league games.
He was awarded the FIFA Men’s Player of the Year in 2020, after netting 55 times and winning three major honours with Bayern.
Antonio Rudiger gave a good review of the Munich talisman last January, telling BILD that: “For me Mauro Icardi, Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski are the best nine in recent years.
“Lewandowski seems to have gotten better this season.”

Chelsea are in the hunt for a no.9 of Lewandowski’s calibre.
Erling Haaland, Romelu Lukaku and Sergio Aguero are the other names linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Prising the Pole away from Germany would cost the Blues £60m (ESPN), a cut price on the potential cost of Haaland or Lukaku.
Thomas Tuchel should have a decent understanding of Lewandowski from his days as Borussia Dortmund manager.

Those memories might not be too fond though.
The towering centre-forward scored twice in a 5-1 Bayern win over Dortmund in 2015, repeating this trick two years later during the Bavarians 4-1 victory.
Age and now injuries may play a major factor if Chelsea do decide to try and land Lewandowski. But a player of that quality would improve any side.

I preferred it when we were just chasing Haaland, now we have too many choices!
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a big fan of Lewandowski and his achievements with Bayern.
For the reported cost Chelsea could buy him for, this would be a shrewd piece of business.
I would have him over Aguero and possibly even Lukaku.
