Chelsea are reportedly entering the pursuit for rising star Jude Bellingham at Championship side Birmingham City.
According to the Sun, the Blues are set to battle for the teenage midfielder in the summer and there is a lot of interest in the in demand star.
It is understood that Chelsea and Manchester United lead the way for the 16-year-old, as they are prepared to pay £35million plus an extra £15million in add-ons.
The report adds that Real Madrid, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are all keen on the English talent too.
The Sun adds that Bellingham can’t sign a professional contract until he turns in June and that Premier League outfit Manchester United had a £30million offer rejected for him in the January transfer window.
Bellingham is a huge upcoming talent in English football that looks destined for the top level and to be playing on a weekly basis in the Championship at his age is staggering.
The central midfielder looks mature beyond his years with a great physicality to his game and he’s a skilful player on the ball too that can make a difference in the final third.
He’s made 31 senior appearances already this season in all competitions for Birmingham, scoring four goals and supplying three assists in return.
His mouth-watering valuation makes him a colossal risk for any Premier League team, but the potential is so vast and the England Under-17 international could go on to blossom at a big club.
Chelsea have integrated a number if young talents from their academy in recent times and it will be intriguing to see if manager Frank Lampard really pushes to sign Bellingham in the summer.
