Chelsea have already approached the agent of Brazilian wonder kid Kaio Jorge of Santos, according to Calciomercato.

A number of big European clubs have made a move for the 19-year-old talent.

This list includes Juventus, Inter Milan, Ajax, Lyon, Shakhtar Donetsk, as well as Chelsea and their Premier League rival Arsenal.

Jorge’s contract with Santos runs out in December and could start negotiations with outside suitors as early as June.

Calciomercato denied that Antonio Conte’s Milan had already reached agreement sign the young centre-forward.

They did confirm that Santos were facing difficulties over renewing his current contract, leaving the door open for interested buyers.

He is one of South America’s hottest prospects, with 32 Brazilian top flight appearances already under his belt.

If Chelsea were to sign Jorge, he would join an impressive inventory of Brazilian born players to feature for the Blues.

David Luiz, Willian, Ramires, Alex and Oscar all made a significant impact at Stamford Bridge before moving on elsewhere.

Filipe Luis, Lucas Piazon, Kenedy and Alexandre Pato not so much.

But all these names prove that Chelsea enjoys acquiring stars from that corner of the globe.

Most of the Blues’ transfers attentions have been on locating a centre-back rather than a striker.

There have been some issues in the attacking department however.

Timo Werner, Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud are yet to set Thomas Tuchel’s team alight.

Although Jorge doesn’t seem like the ideal solution. He has only scored four times for Santos this season.
