Chelsea are reportedly set to make the financial decision of lowering the price tag of Tammy Abraham this summer.

According to The Sun, the Blues want £40million to sell their centre-forward during this window. However, they are finding it difficult to attract suitors at that price.

It is understood Arsenal, West Ham and Arsenal are interested the Englishman, but not at that value.

The report suggests Chelsea are now set to consider shaving at least £5million off the asking price. It is believed they are “so keen” to get rid of him this summer, so they can do their own business in the transfer market.

West Ham are reportedly hoping Abraham’s fee can be lowered to around £30million.

Abraham, who earns around £80,000-a-week, should be an attractive option for clubs.

The fact he’s scored 30 goals in 82 Chelsea games at his age is encouraging. In addition, he was brilliant previously during loans at Aston Villa and Bristol City.

£35m for Chelsea talent Abraham looks fair business for all

It sounds like Chelsea need to offload before they spend big on a new striker, so bringing Abraham’s price tag down makes sense.

However, they shouldn’t undervalue him.

He’s a striker with six England caps and he’s got so much potential to get better.

It will be no surprise to see him score goals regularly at any of the clubs linked, so they should seriously consider putting their hands in their pocket by stumping up between £30-35million.
