Chelsea midfielder Tariq Uwakwe is reportedly now attracting more interest during the January transfer window.
The Sun previously reported that English Championship side Derby County were keen on a move for the 20-year-old.
According to the Daily Mail, fellow Championship teams Hull City and Swansea City have joined the chase for his signature.
It is understood that the youngster is set to leave Stamford Bridge on an 18-month loan deal and teams are now queuing up for him.
Uwakwe has impressed at youth level in recent years for Chelsea, but is yet to make a first-team appearance and hasn’t been out on loan either.
The former England Under-20 international would develop his game massively with minutes at senior level and it looks like that is expected to happen in the near future.
He is a central midfielder that usually plays in the centre of the park linking up play, but he’s also shown he has the versatility to play in wide areas and has decent pace.
With three teams interested in the midfielder, it leaves Chelsea with a big decision to make over his future.
Blues manager Frank Lampard knows Derby well after working with them last season and it’s a place where youth has previously flourished, which is why they may look frontrunners on paper.
