Chelsea are interested in signing Sturm Graz centre-forward Emanuel Emegh, according to reports.
Emanuel Emegh is a key player for Sturm Graz, who play in the Austrian Bundesliga and competed in the Europa League group stages this season.
He’s a young striker with nine goals and five assists in 32-first team appearances this season, which is why there’s now some speculation surrounding his future.

Foot Mercato claim this week that Chelsea are interested in signing Emegh.
It is understood that the 20-year-old attacker has caught the eye of numerous teams across Europe, but Chelsea are the side tracking his progress the closest right now.
The report describes him as someone that is “very fast” despite his 6ft 4in frame.

Emegh is clearly an exciting young talent developing well in Austria’s top division. His exposure to European football is a big tick for his progress, too.
However, this isn’t the kind of transfer gossip that excites us or gives us much encouragement for the summer transfer window.
This very much strikes us a deal very similar to David Datro Fofana, who’s a 20-year-old centre-forward that left Molde in January to make the move to Stamford Bridge. Fofana has made just three senior appearances for Chelsea since, though.
It’s fantastic covering the market for some of the world’s best young talents and it’s a clear strategy under this ownership. But there’s only so many players you can have on the books at once and give minutes to.
Chelsea’s next signing in the striker position has to be a proven goalscorer at the highest level.
