Chelsea is prepared to sell Ethan Ampadu this summer for just £12million.
That is according to The Evening Standard.
Ethan Ampadu, who’s now 22, has been on the Chelsea books at Stamford Bridge since 2017.
The versatile youngster has spent most of his time out on loan, where he’s actually been unfortunate to suffer three consecutive relegations in the past few years.
Despite playing just 12 first-team games for the Blues, Ampadu has played well over 100 matches at senior level. It’s remarkable that he’s got 43 international caps for Wales, too.

The Evening Standard has claimed that Chelsea have made Ampadu available for clubs to sign in this window for £12million.
It is understood that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are now receiving transfer offers for the 22-year-old, who is ready to move on a permanent basis as he enters the final year of his contract with the Blues. Apparently, clubs in Italy, Spain and the Premier League are interested in him.
The report adds that the Welshman wants to continue his career as a midfielder, despite playing as a centre-back for large spells of his development.

Speaking back in 2018, then-Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri picked out Ampadu, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek as future stars at Stamford Bridge. In fact, he described the Blues trio as “the future of the club”.
We feel Ampadu has perhaps been a tad unlucky not to get more opportunities in the Chelsea first team, especially when you consider how bad last year was.
It looks like he won’t get one final chance to impress incoming Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino, but we’re pretty confident he can go elsewhere and fulfil his potential.
