Report: Chelsea now really considering making a bid to sign £90k-a-week star who Lampard has said is a 'huge talent'

Cheslea are reportedly really considering making a bid to try sign Everton star Richarlison this summer.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Blues are lining up making an offer for the 25-year-old attacker during this transfer window.

It is understood Everton are going to demand £50million-plus for the Brazil international, though.

The report adds Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea now firmly have Richarlison in their sights, but a move for him may require current Blues attacker Romelu Lukaku to leave on loan first to Inter Milan. Incidentally, Inter are reportedly confident of securing the loan transfer of 29-year-old striker Lukaku.

It’s previously been claimed the Everton forward would be open to the idea of a switch to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea considering Richarlison bid

Described as a “huge talent” by Everton manager and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, Richarlison is a really exciting player with his peak years ahead of him.

The versatile attacker, who can play centrally or on the wing, has built up some great Premier League experience in recent years.

His total record for the Merseyside club is 53 goals in 151 appearances.

The £90,000-a-week South American has an aggression and bite to his game that’s made him a real fan favourite at Goodison Park. He’s got the technique and ability on the ball to back it up, too.

It would be intriguing to see if Richarlison is ready to take a step up at club level. Top sides in England looking at him should be encouraged by the fact the Everton star has 14 goals in 36 Brazil caps when putting on the famous yellow kit that demands a lot of pressure.
