Chelsea are willing to present Sevilla with half a dozen players in order to sweeten a potential deal for Jules Kounde.

This is according to 90min, who claim the Blues have made at least six of Thomas Tuchel’s current squad available for transfer.

90min name David Zappacosta, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Matt Miazga, Kenedy, and Malang Sarr as swappable assets in return for Kounde.

Kurt Zouma was also mentioned, although Fabrizio Romano already explained how Chelsea were tempting Sevilla with the Frenchman’s services.

Swapping with Sevilla

Out of the sextet of Stamford Bridge stars, the two most logical options for the Spanish out would be Zouma and Sarr.

Both would almost be a direct replacement at centre-back for Kounde, although they reportedly already have their eye on other defensive candidates.

Sport Bild suggested the La Liga club were in talks with free agent Jerome Boateng, whilst the Evening Standard mentioned Ozan Kabak was on their radar.

Chelsea are eager to cut the price on a possible deal for Kounde, but also trim their heavily bloated side.

Tuchel is trying to assess all the returning loanees, alongside his regular first-teamers, in pre-season, with the attention of letting them go this summer.

If he can send a few away to Sevilla, whilst their defender comes the opposite direction, then he will have killed two birds with one football.
