Chelsea are pleased with the job Kepa Arrizabalaga is doing as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, according to reports.
Kepa, who earns £150,000-a-week, has had an up and down Blues career since he moved to west London back in 2018.
The Spanish goalkeeper is currently enjoying one of his better spells, retaining his position this season as the number one in-between the sticks.
There’s been very little to smile about when you look at Chelsea’s campaign so far, but their 28-year-old keeper has shown signs of getting back to his best.

According to the Daily Mail, Kepa has ‘performed sufficiently so far’ in goal for Chelsea.
The report adds that the Blues are happy with their number one in the starting XI, but will prioritise the signing of a backup keeper during the summer transfer window.
It remains to be seen what impact that will have on Edouard Mendy, though.
In our view, we would like to see if 18-year-old Blues talent Gabriel Slonina is ready to step into the position of the understudy goalkeeper.

Mendy, 31, is the other senior goalkeeper on Chelsea’s books.
The Daily Mail claims that Mendy could be back to full fitness within the next two weeks after his injury problem. But will he be able to force his way back into Potter’s line-up?
It definitely looks like Chelsea’s current head coach prefers Kepa as his number one.
Mendy was named Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper as recently as 2021, so surely he won’t be content sitting around on the bench every match.
