Chelsea are reportedly getting ready to make a £30m bid for Manchester City star Nathan Ake.
According to Football.London, the Blues are interested in signing the 27-year-old defender from their Premier League rivals this summer.
The report claims Chelsea are setting their sights on making a £30million offer for the ball-playing centre-back, who’s still got three years remaining on his deal at the Etihad Stadium.
However, the two Premier League clubs may be £20million apart in their valuations based off recent reports.
It’s been claimed league champions Man City would want at least £50million to grant Ake’s sale this summer, plus they’d want a replacement waiting in the wings.

Chelsea ready £30m Nathan Ake bid
If reports are true, Thomas Tuchel’s side will be making a cheeky bid to try bring Ake back to Stamford Bridge.
The left-footed defender previously spent time on Chelsea’s books earlier in his career, even making 17 first-team appearances for them.
He proved during his time with Bournemouth he’s a great defensive option in the Premier League. The Dutchman has continued his development recently by slotting effortlessly into Man City’s squad, too.
Ake’s main problem is that he can’t force his way into the best XI, though, finishing last season with 27 appearances across all competitions.
Described as “fantastic” by Cesc Fabregas back in 2017, Chelsea need to weigh up whether they think the Man City ace improves their current crop of centre-backs. With Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen both exiting Stamford Bridge this summer, it’s imperative they get some new quality defenders through the door quickly.
