Chelsea could reportedly step up interest in Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha when the transfer window re-opens in January.
With the Blues now able to sign players in the next window, there is plenty of speculation around about who Frank Lampard may try add to his squad.

The Guardian are the latest to report Chelsea’s potential interest in snapping up Zaha from Premier League and London rivals Palace.
But the report details that they may “step up” a pursuit of the 27-year-old and are eyeing attacking targets.
It is understood that Palace have set a price tag at £80million that they plan not to dip below, as he’s a talisman for the team at Selhurst Park and he still has a contract until 2023 with them.

Chelsea will surely have to match the whopping £80million valuation to bring the Ivory Coast international to Stamford Bridge in January, but whether he’s worth that is up for debate.
Zaha has been eye-catching in attack for Palace this season, but for all his tricks does only have two goals and two assists in 17 games across all competitions.

He is a versatile attacker that can play as a winger or centre-forward, where his pace and trickery has tormented Premier League defences for years.
But overall his end product hasn’t been the greatest and there must be a reason no other club has taken a big gamble on him up to now.
