Chelsea are among the three clubs prepared to enter summer bidding wars for Brazilian talent Vitor Roque, according to Calciomercato.
Blues January signing Andrey Santos was not the only player to have caught a lot of attention in the Sudamericano Sub-20 tournament.
Santos was named the player of the tournament, but his compatriot Roque was arguably as important to Brazil’s win in the South American youth competition.
Both Santos and Roque finished the tournament as joint-top scorers with six goals, although being a midfielder, the former’s record is arguably more impressive.
Roque has now unsurprisingly generated interest from top European clubs, too.

Calciomercato claims that Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Barcelona are ready to battle it out with lucrative offers.
AC Milan are said to be interested too, but they cannot really compete with these three in terms of spending power.
The Italian outlet mentions that Roque’s current club, Athletico Paranaense, has set a €30million (£26.4m) price tag on the striker.
It is not cheap, but not too expensive, either, for such a young goalscoring talent.
The 17-year-old is under a long-term contract at Paranaense until 2027.
He has already registered seven goals and two assists combined in Brazilian’s top division as well as Copa Libertadores, the South American equivalent of the Champions League.
