Chelsea are reportedly set to keep an eye on Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech for the rest of the season.
According to the Telegraph, the Blues have the 26-year-old on their radar and are going to monitor him for the remainder of the campaign.
It is understood that manager Frank Lampard could recommend a move for the Morocco international in the summer transfer window depending on his form.
The report explains that Chelsea failed with an approach in January for the attacking midfielder and that left Lampard “frustrated” at not being able to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The Telegraph adds that Ziyech would cost around £42million to prize away from Dutch giants Ajax and they are braced for bids for him at the end of the season.
Ziyech has been in sensational form this campaign, scoring eight goals and supplying 21 assists in 29 games across all competitions.
He is a left-footed creator that can cause havoc in the final third in a central role behind the striker, but can also be deployed as a right-winger.
Chelsea learned how dangerous he can be earlier this season in the Champions League group stages, as he supplied three assisters for Ajax at Stamford Bridge in a 4-4 draw.
Ziyech finished last season with 21 goals and 24 assists across all comparison last season and would inject some extra creativity to Lampard’s squad.
