Chelsea currently have a wave of talented players thriving out on loan this season, including English attacker Ike Ugbo.

The 22-year-old is a highly-rated youngster that has risen through the academy ranks at Cobham after joining aged nine and he was sent out on loan in the summer on his fifth loan spell.

After spending time at Barnsley, MK Dons, Scunthorpe United and Roda JC, he joined Belgian side Cercle Brugge on a season-long loan for the 2020/21 campaign.

Cercle Brugge may be sat 13th in the Belgian top-flight right now and struggling for results, but they have one of the most in-form players in the division.

Ugbo has scored a remarkable 10 goals in 15 league games to enhance his reputation, which has seen reported interest surface for him.

According to the Sun, Chelsea have received a £3million bid from Russian club FC Rostov for their loan star Ugbo.

The report explains that the Blues have rejected the initial offer for the English centre-forward, but it states they could have a battle tying to keep him at Stamford Bridge amid interest from rivals clubs.

Ugbo signed a new contract before departing on loan that keeps him at Chelsea until 2022 and it’ll be intriguing to know if senior manager Frank Lampard has him in his thoughts moving forward, as he’s shown he’s willing to throw academy stars into his squad if they are good enough.
