Chelsea target Marc Cucurella is reportedly valued at £45million by his current club Brighton.
According to The Sun, the Blues are in a three-way fight this summer to sign the 23-year-old Premier League star.
It is understood Tottenham and Manchester City are competitors in the race to sign him, though.
The report explains that Cucurella, who won Brighton’s player of the season award this year, is valued by his side at around £45million. Therefore, the left wing-back’s valuation has nearly trebled since his £15.4million transfer to the Amex Stadium last year from Getafe.

Chelsea target Cucurella valued £45m
A bidding war could start during this summer’s transfer window for the Brighton star.
The attack-minded wing-back has dazzled during his debut year in English football, so it’s no surprise to hear some top Premier League clubs are in the running for him. In fact, three of the top four clubs in the league are in the transfer race.
Cucurella has enjoyed a lot of success in Graham Potter’s system at Brighton, especially in a wing-back role.
Both Chelsea and Spurs usually play with a back three that includes wing-backs, so look the more natural fit on paper.
However, it’s unclear on which clubs are prepared to go near the £45million valuation.

A risk
There’s no doubting Cucurella is a talented individual with great stamina, ball control and tactical nous. It won’t be a surprise for him to be snapped up by one of England’s big clubs, too.
However, £40million-plus is a lot for someone not guaranteed of a starting role at Stamford Bridge.
The Brighton star has the versatility to play as the left-sided centre-back, which should make him a bit more appealing to Chelsea. He would be behind Chelsea and England full-back Ben Chilwell to start on the left, though.
