Chelsea will reportedly pursue Adrien Rabiot once the keys of the kingdom are officially handed over to Todd Boehly.
According to TuttoSport, the Blues are planning to look into signing the 27-year-old Juventus midfielder as soon as the ownership has completely changed hands.
Pretty rotten from Rabiot
Rabiot is destined to leave Turin sooner rather than later, following a relatively underwhelming spell with the Italian side.
He joined Juve in 2019 as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain, where he was formerly coached by current Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel.
The France international has since made 129 appearances for the Old Lady and won three trophies, but this only tells half the story.
Across his career at Allianz Stadium, Rabiot has only scored six times and provided a further six assists.

This is despite being a regular under each of three manager’s he’s worked with following that switch from Paris.
But the penny might drop this summer, as Max Allegri attempts to turn around the club’s fortunes following a relatively poor campaign by his high stands.
To do this, Allegri may need to cut off some of the dead wood that’s been weighing Juve down lately.
Unfortunately for Rabiot, he very much fits into this bracket.
However, every cloud has a silver lining.
Will Chelsea pursue Rabiot?
If he is cast aside by the coach for just £22m, this could open the door for a move elsewhere.
Potentially taking him into Chelsea’s corridor, who themselves are going through major change right now.
They are trying to get their house in order, with the Boehly era close to taking flight.

The American will have plenty on his plate when he finally touches down at the top of the pyramid.
On the to-do list includes sieving through those who do and who do not want to be part of the project.
It also involves signing new players to improve Tuchel’s squad.
Would Rabiot enhance what’s already available to the German boss?
Compared to N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and the returning Conor Gallagher, the answer is leaning towards no.
