Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Leeds United star Raphinha this summer, who was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in January.
According to The Athletic, the Blues do hold an interest in the 25-year-old attacker during this window. They’re working on a deal to try sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele as well, though.
It is understood Barcelona are struggling to get the funds together to make their own move for Raphinha.
The report adds Tottenham and Arsenal are two more English sides that have their eyes on the Premier League dazzler, who’s renowned for his cultured left foot and great skill.
Described as “elegant and delightful to watch” by BBC pundit Garth Crooks, it’s no surprise to see some top sides in the race to sign Raphinha.
The winger has 17 goals and 12 assists in 65 career appearances in the Premier League so far.

Chelsea interested in Raphinha
For certain, Blues supporters should love seeing the club linked with a special talent like Raphinha.
The Brazil international’s potential has an incredibly high ceiling, so it would be interesting to see how he performs at a side further up the Premier League.
Interestingly, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea were actually linked with the Leeds ace earlier in the year. It was previously reported the Blues had a £40million bid for Raphinha rejected back in January.
The forward at Stamford Bridge in the last couple of seasons have lacked consistency and creativity in the final third, so Raphinha would be an intriguing answer to that.
