Chelsea midfielder Tariq Uwakwe is reportedly wanted by Championship side Derby County.
According to the Sun, Derby want to sign the 20-year-old on loan for the rest of the season to try help them climb the league table.

It is understood that the Blues would be “happy” to do business with the East Midlands club, as they have a good relationship with them.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard managed Derby last season, while duo Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori both thrived off loan spells at the club.
The report adds that Blues assistant Jody Morris is a big admirer of Uwakwe after previously working with him at youth level.

Uwakwe is a highly-rated talent in the youth ranks at Stamford Bridge and he’s being tipped as someone that could be the next to make the leap up to the first-team.
He’s a versatile midfielder that can play in wide or central midfield positions and has been with the Under-23s team this season.

He’s yet to play any form of senior football, which is why leaving in January for a stint in the Championship would be a massive test for him and be a great way to measure his level.
Morris has proven he’s a been a great mentor for youth players in recent years and it’s great news that he rates skilful youngster Uwakwe.
