Reports suggest Everton are finally considering selling Anthony Gordon amid Chelsea’s interest in signing him.

According to i News, the Toffees are believed to have changed their stance on the 21-year-old from earlier this summer, when he was completely not for sale.

The youngster prevailed as a shock target for the Blues before the transfer window closes, with them considering making even more purchases to back up their busy summer.

They have already added Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella to their ranks this window, with them all making their home debuts in the pulsating draw against Tottenham.

They have also secured young talents for the future, with Carney Chukwuemeka, Cesare Casadei and Gabriel Slonina all also being added to their ranks.

Now though, it seems they are looking to add yet another wide attacker to their stacked squad, with i News claiming they are preparing a third bid for his services.

Christian Pulisic would be one of the names he would be competing with for minutes at Stamford Bridge, however the American may be set for a move away this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly keen on taking him on loan this summer, with him desperate to secure gametime to get up to speed before representing the United States at this year’s World Cup.

With Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi also rumoured to be on the way out this summer, there may actually be more of an opportunity for Gordon to thrive if he gets his move.

With fixtures set to pile up when the Champions League and domestic cup competitions come around, competent squad depth will be important in seeing the Blues not drop away from the leaders later in the campaign, similar to how they did last season.
