Roma reportedly won’t go beyond Thursday or Friday to take Tammy Abraham away from Chelsea ahead of the new season.
This is according to Gianluca di Marzio, who claims that the Serie A side have set their deadline to sign the young striker.
Abraham has had one foot out of the Stamford Bridge door for what feels like an eternity.

So many clubs have been linked to the 23-year-old these past few months, with no concrete solution over his next destination.
Along the way, West Ham United and Aston Villa had been touted as possible Premier League locations for the attacker.
Arsenal have also emerged as contenders to steal the Chelsea academy product.
But new players from Italy are also in the mix, including Atalanta and most recently, Roma.
Where will Abraham go?
Jose Mourinho will know plenty about Abraham, thanks to his stints at Stamford Bridge and facing against him whilst in charge of Tottenham Hotspur.

The Giallorossi want a new leading marksman before the campaign kicks of in order to replace Edin Dzeko, who is potentially joining Inter Milan.
Despite his minimal game time under Thomas Tuchel, Abraham is proven at the highest level.
He managed 12 goals last term and 18 the year before that.
Frank Lampard has given his seal of approval to the Englishmen, describing him as ‘special’ following his hattrick against Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2019.

Inter of course have their own no.9 hole to fill, thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s move back to Chelsea.
If Abraham did join Roma, it could initiate a centre-forward merry-go-round across the continent.
But Mourinho’s employers do not want this transfer saga to stretch beyond the next couple of days
