Dutch side PSV Eindhoven are reportedly interested in a deal to sign Chelsea’s David Datro Fofana on loan.

Fofana, 20, is a youngster that will officially becomes a Chelsea player on 1 January.

The Blues confirmed in December that they’ve reached a pre-agreement with Molde for the transfer of the young striker, which means he officially become a Blues player at the start of January.

He’s scored 24 goals in 65 Molde first-team appearances.

Is he ready to make an impact in the Chelsea first team yet, though?

PSV interested in Fofana

According to Sport Italia, PSV have their sights set on a move for Chelsea’s new signing Fofana.

The report claims the Eredivisie club want to sign the 20-year-old on loan.

With Armando Broja out injured, Chelsea are definitely a player light in the centre-forward department.

If Graham Potter thinks Fofana is ready for a first-team opportunity, integrating him into the squad this month could be the smart play.

However, a loan with PSV and a Europa league run could be a good alternative.
