AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is apparently eager to join a Premier League team amid reported intrigue from Chelsea and several others.
This is according to 90min, who say Kessie has his eyes firmly fixed on a move to England’s top flight.
The 24-year-old is running down his Milan contract, which concludes next summer.

A deal to extend the Ivorian’s stay at the San Siro is yet to be sorted out.
90min stated the player has already rejected the Rossoneri’s most recent approaches.
Franck assessment
Understandably, Stefano Pioli and his employers are extremely eager to retain Kessie’s services.
His importance to Milan’s makeup cannot be disputed.
He joined the black and red half of the city in 2017, originally on loan from Atalanta.

“He is an extraordinary player, a sublime intelligence,” said former teammate Vincenzo Montella, not long after Kessie signed for the club.
In his debut season alone, he played 54 games across all competitions.
Those numbers have stayed pretty consistent ever since, with the midfielder conjuring up 14 goals and six assists from 50 appearances last season.
Therefore, it’s no wonder the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have kept Kessie on their radar.
In terms of the Blues, they are still trying to discover a perfect midfield combination for Thomas Tuchel.

Saul Niguez has yet to hit any kind of heights following his deadline day loan move from Atletico Madrid.
Billy Gilmour and Conor Gallagher are trying to stake a claim for a return at Norwich City and Crystal Palace respectively.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek remained part of the squad over the summer and is already catching Tuchel’s eye.
Chelsea could land Kessie on a free if Milan fail in their persuasion techniques, a piece of business that from the outside, looks like a bargain.
