According to Football London, Silva is expected to hold conversation with Chelsea regarding his future post-World Cup.
The report highlights the player’s desire to play until he’s 40, whether that be elsewhere or in West London.

As long as he still feels fit and fresh, Chelsea supporters will want Silva to keep signing one-year contract extensions forever.
His immediate focus is on representing Brazil at this winter’s World Cup, with their tournament beginning tonight against Serbia.
It says so much about the centre-half’s immense quality that he’s getting ready to captain the pre-tournament favourites in the biggest competition in the world.
ESPN recently claimed that Brazil’s coaching staff have been ‘amazed’ by the fitness and condition of Chelsea’s timeless defender.
Described as “incredible” by Chelsea boss Graham Potter, Silva must be such a delight for any coach to work with.
