Italian journalist Romeo Agresti has claimed Juventus will table an offer for Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri this week.
Emerson has recently spoken about his desire to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer.
However, considering he has fallen in the pecking order under Frank Lampard, and the manager’s reported interest in signing a new left-back this summer, the 25-year-old’s future at Chelsea remains uncertain.
According to journalist Agresti, former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is keen on a reunion with Emerson in Turin and the Serie A leaders are preparing an official offer.

Agresti told Juventibus: “Juventus will have an offer this week for Emerson Palmieri and there may be several players at stake.”
He mentioned Juventus would like to include Mattia De Sciglio as part of a swap deal with Emerson, but Chelsea are not interested in the 27-year-old.
The Italy international has mostly played second fiddle to Alex Sandro this season, although he could also operate on the right.
Emerson has been in a similar situation as he has not appeared for the Blues since his poor performance against Arsenal in January.

Another Italian journalist, Luca Momblano, added that midfielder Miralem Pjanic is not interested in joining the Blues.
Momblano also revealed that Juventus has received an offer for Alex Sandro, although the origin of the offer is still unknown, which could be why Emerson’s signing would make sense for the Old Lady.
