Chelsea’s Ross Barkley is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League and London rivals West Ham ahead of this summer.
Barkley, who earns £96,000-a-week (Spotrac), is currently out on a season-long loan at Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old is due back at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, where he will be greeted by a new manager due to the mid-season appointment of Thomas Tuchel.
According to TEAMtalk, Tuchel is prepared to let the English attacking midfielder compete for a spot in the Blues squad, but won’t block any potential exit this summer if the right opportunity comes along.
The report states that West Ham are one of a host of Premier League clubs eyeing Barkley.
It is added that the player is open to working under David Moyes at the London Stadium, as he was the manager that gave him his debut at Everton back in 2011.

If you look at the current Chelsea squad, there is already a depth of talent for Tuchel to choose from in the creative playmaker positions.
Despite a positive start, Barkley’s loan at Villa has only gone downhill and he’s no longer a regular starter for them.
On his day he’s capable of the spectacular, but it seems unlikely he’ll be able to break into the manager’s plans in west London.
He’s still under contract with Chelsea 2023, so perhaps the club should try cash in on him at the end of the season when he returns from his loan.
