Chelsea player Timo Werner has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Arsenal this summer.
According to Defensa Central, Premier League and London rivals Arsenal have set their sights on Chelsea’s 26-year-old forward.
The report claims the Gunners and Juventus are both monitoring Werner, as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid.
This comes after a recent claim that Chelsea could let him go in this transfer window if they’re able to bring a new attacker to Stamford Bridge.
In addition, it’s been reported Real Madrid’s interest in the Germany international would be a loan rather than a permanent swoop.

Arsenal target Timo Werner
This would be quite a remarkable transfer this summer.
Werner, who only started 15 Premier League games last season, has had a rough ride at times in Chelsea colours.
The former RB Leipzig striker has so many great attributes to his game with the kind of pace and movement that defenders hate. Unfortunately, his finishing has been far too sporadic while playing for the Blues.

It’s no massive surprise to hear rumours of a potential exit, but a switch across London to join neighbours would be a shock.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal squad is already stacked with numerous attackers such as Gabriel Martinelli, Eddie Nketiah, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus.
Let’s wait and see if anything more concrete emerges in the coming weeks.
