Chelsea will face competition from Premier League rivals Manchester City in the race to sign Brighton’s Marc Cucurella.
The Daily Mail claims Man City want Marc Cucurella this summer.
The report explains Pep Guardiola’s side are set to make a £30million swoop for the 23-year-old full-back, as they look to bring in a new left-back for next season.
This comes after Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea were linked with Cucurella earlier in the year. Apparently, the Blues put the Spanish wing-back on their radar ahead of the summer.

Manchester City want Marc Cucurella
Man City, who are one game away from winning another Premier League title, clearly admire Brighton’s player of the season.
Cucurella, 23, has enjoyed an incredible debut campaign in English football by starring for top-flight side Brighton.
He’s been an incredible option for Graham Potter’s side in the left wing-back role. Also, he’s shown versatility to drop into centre-back, or even as a full-back in a back four.
Man City’s recruitment is to search for some of the best players around, which highlights how many boxes Cucurella has ticked this year.

Perfect for Chelsea
There’s no doubt Cucurella would fit Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea system like a glove.
His versatility to play numerous positions is such a great asset, plus his relentless work-rate for 90 minutes every game.
The worry now is that Man City will steal a march for his signature, though.
Described as “amazing” by Brighton captain Lewis Dunk, it will be a surprise to see Cucurella remain at Brighton for the long-term given his obvious talent.
However, let’s hope Man City aren’t the big club to snap him up.
