Newcastle United are reportedly ready to make a bid for Juventus star Adrien Rabiot, who’s also been linked with Chelsea recently.
Rabiot, 27, is an important player at club level for Serie A giants Juventus.
The all-action central midfielder is proving vital for France at the current World Cup as well, starting in three of their four games at the tournament so far. Next, France face England in the World Cup quarter-finals this Saturday.
Described as “brilliant” by Alan Shearer this week, Rabiot is now linked with a potential transfer to the Premier League.

Newcastle ready Adrien Rabiot bid
According to Calciomercato, Premier League side Newcastle are serious with their interest in Rabiot.
The report claims the Magpies may be willing to make a “super offer” in January to try sign the French World Cup star.
This comes after Calciomercato recently claimed that Chelsea are prepared to meet Rabiot’s wage demands of £8million-per-year to sign him themselves.

Premier League audiences should definitely be interested to see how Rabiot fares on Saturday.
If he keeps his starting position, he may be in direct opposition against the likes of Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham during a fascinating battle in the centre of the park.
Rabiot maybe hasn’t hit the heights most expected when he made a name for himself at Paris Saint-Germain, but he may now be peaking as he approaches his late-twenties.
For Chelsea, it makes sense to be on the lookout for new midfielders given both Jorginho and N’Golo Kante are currently out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
