Fulham will demand £50million this summer to sell their midfield star Joao Palhinha, who’s been linked recently as a Chelsea target.
That is according to The Guardian.
The Guardian explained yesterday that Premier League side Fulham are going to put a £50million asking price on Joao Palhinha, who joined them for £20million last year.
It is understood that the midfielder is a ‘key target’ for West Ham this summer, but he’s very highly rated at Craven Cottage after a fantastic debut season in England last year.

We’ve heard recent speculation to suggest that Palhinha is in Chelsea’s sights.
Well-respected journalist Simon Phillips reported on his Substack earlier this month that Palhinha is “a real option” for Chelsea in this summer transfer window.
But we’re definitely put off by a potential £50million valuation from Fulham!
There’s no doubting that Palhinha is a quality operator and performed as one of the Premier League’s best defensive midfielders last season.
However, the 27-year-old Portuguese star feels like quite a significant gamble at £50million.

Described as “phenomenal” by Danny Murphy, Palhinha has amazing individual statistics from last year and can boss proceedings in the centre of the park with his physicality.
We would much rather Chelsea bring in a more mobile midfielder such as Brighton’s Moises Caicedo to improve their engine room.
It’s going to be interesting to see how the Blues line up next season in the centre of the park under Mauricio Pochettino.
