Baba Rahman is still on the books at Chelsea and he linked up with French club Stade Reims in January on loan.
The left-footed defender moved to Stamford Bridge back in 2015 and has made just 23 senior appearances for the Blues, with his time in English football struggling to really lift off.
He’s had two spells on loan with German club Schalke and appears to have discovered some form in recent month with Stade Reims.
According to the Daily Mail, several Premier League clubs have sent scouts to watch the 24-year-old in action during recent games.
It is understood that Chelsea will look to cut their losses by offloading the full-back despite the fact his contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire in 2020.
Chelsea fans can be forgiven if they forgot that Rahman was still their player and offloading the loanee on a permanent basis in the summer makes sense if possible.
The Ghana international has had some extremely bad luck with injuries, but it’s good to see him back on track and he’s doing enough to impress some top-flight clubs in England.
Ironically Maurizio Sarri’s side could do with a new left-back next year in their squad, as Marcos Alonso has regressed massively and Emerson Palmieri is just a steady option.
Rahman is a speed machine that has all the tools of a modern full-back, but bringing him back into the fold would be a long shot and reports suggest he could be off elsewhere.
