Chelsea attacker Izzy Brown is reportedly attracting interest from London rivals QPR following his return from a latest loan spell.
According to West London Sport, the Championship outfit are keen on the 23-year-old ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The report explains that Chelsea are currently weighing up his future this summer, as he’s got just one year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Brown joined the Blues back in 2013 from West Brom, but has made just one first-team appearance and spent most of his time away on loan.
The Englishman managed eight assists in 28 appearances during his time with Luton Town in the past 12 months, but injury problems held him back from his best.
He’s a versatile attacker that can play in a number 10 role, wide position or as a centre-forward and is on a £25,000-a-week deal (Spotrac).
Brown has been on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, Rotherham United, Huddersfield Town, Brighton, Leeds United and Luton, but it looks unlikely he will be able to force his way into plans at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard should sell him in the summer window to QPR, as he’s already got a wave of youngster at the club that are someway ahead of him.
Brown has shown on his day he’s got excellent individual quality on the ball and can be effective in the Championship, so he should be an attractive signing for QPR.
