Real Madrid would be willing to offer Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger a lucrative pay to join them on a free transfer, according to Marca.
The 28-year-old, whose contract with Chelsea expires next summer, is yet to sign a new deal to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.
This unsurprisingly attracts attention from several top clubs. According to an earlier report from Sky Sports, at least six top European clubs are interested in the centre-back.
While the report did not rule out a potential new Chelsea contract, it also mentioned that Rudiger was keeping his options open. Bear in mind, he will be able to negotiate pre-contract with foreign clubs in January.
Spanish publication Marca has now suggested that Real Madrid are among the clubs monitoring Rudiger’s situation.
The La Liga giants have reportedly shifted their attention from potential galactico signings to soon-to-be free agents, such as Rudiger and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.

Interestingly, Marca further claims that Rudiger has shown interest in leaving the Premier League as well, despite Chelsea’s attempt to keep him.
To lure him away from Stamford Bridge, Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to offer the Germany international a €10million (£8.5m)-a-year salary package.
