Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri reportedly wants to sell midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer after deciding he doesn’t fit into his plans.
According to the Daily Star, the new Blues boss is keen to offload the 23-year-old despite the fact that Antonio Conte splashed out £40million for his signature last summer.
Bakayoko endured a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge and came in for some heavy criticism from supporters.

The French enforcer managed 43 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea and did get an FA Cup medal, but certainly failed to live up to his heavy price tag.
He is a defensive midfielder that already has N’Golo Kante as fierce competition in the squad, while deep-lying playmaker Jorginho has also arrived in this summer transfer window from Napoli with a big reputation.

Bakayoko earned his big-money move to the Premier League after impressing in France with Monaco and he’s shown he can be a real force in the centre of the park.
However, the Daily Star’s report suggests he won’t get a reprieve under Sarri, who is renowned for his attacking style of football.
Bakayoko is still a young talent that may have to go elsewhere to reignite his career and it will be interesting to see how the remainder of the transfer window plays out for him.
