Juventus are reportedly considering making an approach for Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri this summer.
According to Calciomercato, the Serie A club are setting their sights on the 27-year-old as a transfer target ahead of next season.
It is understood that Juventus may be in the market for a new full-back, as their current left-back Alex Sandro could leave Turin.
The report explains Emerson, who’s been on their radar for “several years”, may be the ideal replacement. Therefore, Italian giants Juventus are expected to make contact with Chelsea about him this summer.
Emerson, 27, is currently on a season-long loan away from Stamford Bridge at Lyon.
The £44,000-a-week left-footer is commonly used as a left-back, albeit he’s got the offensive qualities to play higher up the pitch at times.
He was an important player in the Italy squad that won the Euros last year, but his Chelsea career has never really taken off to similar heights since his arrival in London in 2018.
Current Blues manager Thomas Tuchel previously said Emerson has “unbelievable qualities”. However, his time out on loan surely makes it quite difficult for him to work his way into favour at Chelsea.

Chelsea really miss Chilwell
One of the main reasons Emerson was allowed to depart on loan is the fact Chelsea are blessed with tremendous talent in his position.
England star Ben Chilwell, as well as rival teammate Marcos Alonso, are the Blues options to play at left-back or left wing-back.
A long-term injury to Chilwell has been a killer blow to the team, though.
Chilwell, 25, brings tremendous energy, athleticism and quality when he’s in full flow at wing-back. Him and Reece James were a formidable wing-back pairing earlier in the 2021/22 season.
