Reports have claimed that Thomas Tuchel is now trying to sign Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Randal Kolo Muani for Bayern Munich.

According to 90min, the Bundesliga leaders are looking to beat Chelsea to a deal that could be worth up to £88m.

Kolo Muani has emerged as a brilliant player seemingly out of nowhere this year. He so far has 13 goals and 10 assists in the Bundesliga this season.

It has not taken long for him to be linked with elite sides all around Europe, and Chelsea have reportedly thrown their hat in the ring for a potential transfer.

This comes as they have been linked to the signing of a number of attackers in an attempt to bring some much-needed firepower to Stamford Bridge.

Tuchel wants Kolo Muani

They will already have the talented Christopher Nkunku to come at the end of this season after agreeing terms with RB Leipzig to bring him in.

Kolo Muani would certainly be a very impressive addition, with his goalscoring pedigree speaking for itself this season.

However, they may have met their match in terms of other sides interested in a deal, with Tuchel reportedly wanting Bayern to bring him in at the peak of the Bundesliga.

The former boss is seemingly looking to cause quite the dent on his old side in the transfer market, with him also interested in a couple of current Blues.

Midfielders Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount are reported targets for the Bundesliga side, with their futures by no means secure.

The Croatian has reportedly not even begun negotiations over a potential extension to his contract, whilst Mount’s disparities with the club have been well-documented as he tentatively negotiates over a new deal.
