Chelsea-owned defender Baba Rahman is reportedly attracting loan interest from a few clubs.
According to GHANASoccernet, the 27-year-old could end up leaving Stamford Bridge on loan this summer.
It is explained he will depart on a temporary basis unless Blues manager Thomas Tuchel is convinced by him in pre-season.
The report says German club Augsburg are one possible loan destination. In addition, Greek clubs POAK Thessaloniki and Olympiacos are two other possible teams he could join on loan.
Chelsea signed Rahman from Augsburg back in 2015, but he’s played just 23 senior games for the club.
The left-back has had numerous loan spells away from Stamford Bridge, including at POAK last season.
He’s a 25-time capped Ghana internatonal with speed and athleticism. However, it would be a surprise to see him force his way into Tuchel’s plans.
Chelsea boss Tuchel is checking on Rahman, along with the host of other players to return from loan spells, so it’s going to be intriguing to see who’s still around at the start of the new season.
Rahman does only have one year remaining on his contract, which is why Chelsea risk losing him for free next summer if he does leave on a season-long loan.
