There’s now reportedly been six separate discussions to discuss the future of Chelsea player Armando Broja.

According to the Evening Standard, Blues co-owner and chairman Todd Boehly has held half a dozen meetings to solely talk about the 20-year-old striker.

The report explains there’s been talks involving co-owners Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, as well as Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, trying to work whether to keep the player or sell him.

This comes at a time where Premier League rivals West Ham and Everton are both linked to the youngster.

Broja wasn’t involved in Chelsea’s original squad that travel to the United States for a pre-season trip this summer, but he’s now been pictured [see below] training with the group after travelling overseas.

Armando Broja future

It’s clearly a hot topic of discussion at Stamford Bridge as Boehly and co try to resolve Broja’s future.

He’s now working with Tuchel’s first team in pre-season, so is there a route into the senior squad next season?

The centre-forward impressed last year during a season-long loan at Premier League rivals Southampton, but it would be another big step up for the Chelsea academy graduate.

With transfer links to other clubs, there’s a big decision to make about on him.

ST position

Can Chelsea really afford to let Broja leave in this window?

If the club don’t intend to sign a striker in the remainder of the summer window, it could be a major risk allowing the youngster to walk out the exit doors.

He’s got the potential to compete for the No.9 position alongside Kai Havertz, while versatile attackers Raheem Sterling and Timo Werner may provide alternative options to play centrally.

However, if a marquee signing is signed at centre-forward it’s difficult to picture convincing Broja to stay or giving him much game time.
