Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has had conversations with the representatives of Sevilla defender Jules Kounde ahead of a potential summer move, according to the Mirror.
Talks between Chelsea and Sevilla have reportedly reached an advanced stage with the 23-year-old is said to be keen on moving to Stamford Bridge.
The report claims that after failing to strike a deal with a £42.5million last summer, Chelsea are now hoping that £50m plus add-ons will be enough to convince Sevilla this time.
Chelsea are reportedly offering Kounde a four-year deal ahead of a meeting between the two clubs and the player’s representatives in London this week.

Tuchel, however, has already spoken to the centre-back’s representatives and promised a key role for Kounde, the report added.
This reportedly prompted Kounde to turn down offers from Germany and another Premier League club.
If, as the report suggested, personal agreements are not an issue, an agreement between Chelsea and Sevilla is the only thing left.
The Spanish club reportedly want assurances that they will receive the transfer funds before the end of June to give them time to sign a replacement and strengthen their squad.

Considering Chelsea have confirmed that the club’s change of ownership is expected to be complete by Monday, the prospective new owners will certainly have plenty of time to meet Sevilla’s demands.
Earlier, Spanish outlet AS, claimed that Kounde’s Chelsea move is expected to be confirmed within days.
