Reports suggest Thomas Tuchel is still keen to add four more players to his squad before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to The Athletic, the German is looking to bring in reinforcements so he can put up a fight for the title with Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp at the top of the table.
The Blues have so far brought in Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly, a pair of signings that have undoubtedly strengthened the current crop.

However, for every signing made there has been one slip through their fingers at the final moments.
The club had agreed a fee with Leeds United for a deal to sign Raphinha, however the Brazilian held out to join Barcelona instead.
It looks like it’s going to be Déjà vu for the Blues now too, with Jules Kounde expected to be announced as another Barcelona signing this summer.
The duo of missed opportunities has left the club still way off in terms of where the manager wants them to be, with The Athletic claiming that he wants as many as four new signings.

Tuchel wants four more signings
It has been claimed that he wanted to bring three centre backs in this summer, meaning there are still two more names he is hoping comes through the door.
The club are reportedly convinced on making a deal for Presnel Kimpembe, following a glowing reference from current Blue N’golo Kante. However, his loyalty to PSG is proving making a deal difficult.
The club had also apparently lined up Josko Gvardiol as a backup option at centre-back. This could now be the preferable option, with the promising defender likely to be expensive, but currently not linked to any other big teams.
Whoever they choose, the club currently look short at the back with less than two weeks until the new season. It would be advisable to get the deals done as soon as possible, to give the manager at least some time to work with his new players before the trip to Everton.
